I made a checklist, as I said in my previous blog, that separated what we need to film in the daytime and nighttime. This helped me become better organized and make everything flow easily throughout the filming process. I noticed we had few things to film with the sun out so my group and I decided to get straight into that. First, my group and I filmed what would be the end of my 2-minute movie. The first thing we did was record when Lili awakes from her dream due to her friends arriving and ringing the doorbell. I had taken my alarm clock as a prop to show the time it is when she wakes up. I recorded because I had an idea on what angles we wanted. I pictured using a high angle shot to make the dream Lili was thinking of seem more chaotic. My group and I were able to film during a break that we had of school. We took the chance that we were all free on Monday and went to Lili’s house. Brianna had an idea to come to my house first to get food earlier and then be on our way to Lili’s place. Therefore, Brianna and Hannah came over to my house around 11:30. Since I recently got my driver’s license, I drove us to first Party City. Here we got some of the props we needed for our film. I first went straight to the fake blood that was essential. Then, I went to get the white face paint to cover my face when playing the creepy little girl in the movie . I payed for everything at the moment but then after we would split it between the four of us. After leaving Party City, Brianna, Hannah, and I realized we were going to be a bit late so we texted Aleiah to take a bit longer as well. We left and went straight to McDonald’s. My group and I had planned on going to Lili's house. I was extremely excited to go on this day. However, on this specific evening it began to rain when I was about to leave the house. I had organized to leave my house around 12 and meet up with everyone else at 12:30. Then, I would have filmed the last scene of the movie and then wait until night to film the entirety of the first part of the film. While I were to wait, I would have visited the mall to waste time until it becomes dark outside. Consequently of the rain, I had to move it to another day. Now I am planning on recording my movie this upcoming Monday which is March 21, 2022. Relevantly, Aleiah's dance competition got cancelled and now my group can all go to Lili's house without any problems. I arranged a plan for my group and I to get back on track after all of the  chaos. My group and I have been stressing on when to film. All of us could not agree or come to a set date, therefore I decided that we must discuss on March 14 when we all had class together. I was supposed to film a while ago, however plans changed when we all suddenly became busy. I am available all of the upcoming dates except for Friday. Lili also can't do Friday. Brianna is only available on Monday. And Aleiah has a dance competition on Monday, which is the only day that Brianna is available. Therefore, I asked Aleiah if her event would take up the entire day and she said she could get to Lili's house around three in the afternoon. From this, my entire group will be able to shoot our movie on Monday in the evening where we will still have some daylight and will continue to film during the nighttime. My group and I couldn't find a day to film from my last blog to this one. Therefore, today I will be talking about the details that we will include in our movie. For this film, my group and I will be using many props and costume designs. When I was first discussing this topic with my group, I brought up the idea of buying a record player since they are usually perceived as being creepy in some horror films. My group had liked the idea in the moment, but when we went online to check the prices I decided it was better to not go along with this idea. This is because it would've been too expensive for a small clip in my film. Furthermore, in my movie I will be playing the creepy little girl (even though you won't know it's me). She will foreshadow the horrendous murders that will soon occur after she is shown in the frame. My group and I have not been able to meet up yet to film the first part of our movie. We have decided to schedule it for a later time since we all have busy schedules these days. Therefore, this first blog I am writing will be about the music we agreed on for the background of our film and how we chose it. To begin with, there were a multitude of options to pick from. It was very difficult coming to one final song. However, we found this was the creepiest and spin-chilling sound of them all. We had an entire list of the songs we had in mind. Some included Slendy's Lullaby, Chloe's Lullaby, and I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire. I had given these ideas, plus Tiptoe Through The Tulips. We all agreed this one, Tiptoe Through The Tulips, would be our best bet in making our soon-recorded film scary. 1st Sheet: The film starts with an establishing shot of the house on which the name of the studio, “Blue Breeze Studios” will appear. That shot that shows a creepy girl slowly walking through one of the windows. Soon after appears a four shot of teenage girls, Angie, Emma, Aleiah and Lili, all hanging out in a bedroom, gossiping, when one of them, Emma, starts to distance herself from her friends and goes to the bathroom. At this moment, the name of the production company, “A Plume Productions Film”pops up on the lower left corner. When in the bathroom, an eye-level shot as well as short cuts will show Emma glitching into her alternate self, portrayed as a creepy girl. That is when the name of the actress playing that role appears, Brianna Reyes, still on the lower left corner. 2nd Sheet: An eye-level shot of Emma shows her, still in the bathroom, getting a knife out of her clothes.
