Changes Made From Film Review
After the constructive feedback, I made many changes to my movie. After I had showed my brother, I also showed other family members and friends. Multiple people told me that it needed to be creepier and give the audience a sense of terror. From this, I added a filter that made the scenes darker. This gave an eerie effect that improved my movie. Additionally, the most important thing I needed for my movie to even be graded entirely was the time. I need 21 more seconds to complete the two minutes. Therefore, my group got together and was able to finish up what was left of the scenes. The shots turned out amazing and I am very grateful to have them in my group. To continue, I made the font of the credits red and seem as if it was blood. This would make it fit my theme of blood-curdling murders amongst the friend group. Also, I made them around 2 to 3 seconds in length for there to be enough time for the audience to see but not too much that it's taking away attention from the actual scenes itself. Next, I fixed the jump cut scenes that were inserted spontaneously. To make it neater, I spaced out the timing between each clip for there to be enough time to see each setting. Then, I moved the credits to be in a spot where you can observe both the letters and the scenes clearly. In addition, I made the title size bigger for it to be noticeable to the crowd that it is in fact the title of the entire movie. Furthermore, another thing people noticed in the film was that there was no lead up. Everything seemed rushed and there was no reasonable context on what was occurring. Due to this, my group and I inserted the newly-filmed scenes that would help build up the action in the movie. I feel like what my group and I have altered so far from the feedback we received will assist us in making the best introduction to a movie that we can.
